Besides the general rules for RPing, here are some other rules for classes:

1) To join a class, just post in the thread. There is no need to sign up for anything.
2) Don't flood the thread! Professors read all the posts, so it is can be a little annoying for them to have to read through discussions not even related to the lesson.
3) In addition to Rule #2, please make a maximum of 3 posts before the professor officially starts the lesson.
4) You must make at least two posts after the lesson starts to be counted as attending the class.

After every lesson, a professor assigns homework. Homework is not mandatory, however it will earn you extra house points. You can submit your homework in the Homework thread. Each teacher grades the Homework and awards House Points for them.

As of January 1, 2010:

Joined:
Before January/July: 12 classes (you must attend at least 12 different classes)
January/July: 12 classes (you must attend at least 6 different classes)
February/August: 10
March/September: 8
April/October: 6
May/November: 4
June/December: 2

*Note: Month used depends on what section of the real-life year the school year takes place in, either January-June or July-December.
